Our Story
Impacted and driven by our Beloved Lord God to contribute to the well-being of vulnerable people and those we meet along the way, Eyes of Mercy Mission was founded in 2020.

We are Felice and Angelica, husband and wife, friends, co-workers, teammates, and founders of Eyes of Mercy. For many years, even without knowing each other, we had a deep desire in our hearts to help people in need. Each of us, prayed to God for this dream born in God's heart and placed in our hearts to come true.

BORNE OF A VISION

I, Felice was traveling to my home town with my 12-year-old daughter in an intermunicipal bus, which crashed and rolled over couple times, the vehicle was semi-destroyed, many people were injured, but my daughter and I were unharmed. As the hurting passengers were been taking care, I walked away to the nearest town, looking to find new transportation to continue my journey to home and suddenly, I saw a man lying on a sidewalk under the beating midday sun, he couldn't move from dehydration and hunger, he looked like a street inhabitant, his situation struck me, but, even more, the indifference and mockery of some people around him, who were having a refreshing drink in a comfortable place across the street, where the needed man was laying on with out caring. Quickly, I try to help the man, bringing water and food and trying to get him off the burning sun. With a painful feeling in my heart, I continued on my journey, thinking how I could do more to help many hopeless people in the world. For years, I was involved in social activities and outreach to the poor and needy at my local church, always praying to God for the desire to serve others.

Later, I met my wife, Angelica, and what a wonderful surprise! In her heart, too, burned the desire to serve God and families in need. She had already taken steps of faith and resigned from her secular job at a large company to be a missionary for seven years.
